ACLU at it again….Slidell, La. now under attack.

A painting of Jesus has been hanging on the court house walls of the city of Slidell, La. for almost a decade.  Enter the ACLU. File a lawsuit on the grounds it violates the separation of church and state, or some other nonsense.

We did not file this lawsuit because the ACLU is anti-religion … We did file this lawsuit because we believe this display is clearly in violation of the law,” said Vincent Booth, president and acting executive director of the Louisiana ACLU chapter.

Sure thing.   Say, whoever called the ACLU and complained aout the painting and how offended you were when you saw Jesus hanging on the wall, you should go get a life.   Look the other way.  I get offended every time I go shopping and have to put up with the teenie boppers and their butt cracks showing, their tattoos and really horrible clothes choices that don’t fit.   And most of them 50 pounds overweight and proud of it.   Now, that is offensive.   Perhaps, the burqa is not such a bad idea after all.

“The painting has been on display at the courthouse for nearly a decade and hadn’t provoked any complaints prior to the ACLU’s recent objections, said Michael Johnson, senior legal counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund, a Christian civil rights group representing the city and parish. “
